Default Formal Introduction From Us Here At ActiveTuning!

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to formally introduce myself here on the forums, as we have just been added as a sponsor A lot of you guys already know me, either from my posts, or from meets/shows. I posted a little basic info on our company, ActiveTuning (www.activetuning.com) ** begin shameless plug ** as well as an announcement on our grounding kits for $40 shipped here:

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....wpost&t=118381

** shameless plug completed **

We also have our project 350Z which will shortly have a new issue..but you can read all the past issues here:

http://www.activetuning.com/pat/4

We're proud to announce that we are working with APS on the car, and will have the TT in by the end of May! It's been sitting here in my office for a few weeks now, just a matter of us getting some time to get it in the car! So look for some great info and video on that when the time comes.

I know we don't have much to offer just yet for the Z community, but we have some great things planned for you guys that I think you'll like..it's just hush hush for now

I agree with tekneq. I'm not feeling the hood. The rest of the car looks great though.

Any ETA on when we'll know about what you're working on? Or maybe some hints....?

Oh it's going to be some time, we have a ton of things pending we are working on before we can get to the 350Z stuff. We may have a short shifter in the near future though.

Congrats on the sponsorship, and business evolving Dave. Who is going to be installing the APS kit on your car?

Thanks We still need to meet up one of these days! You going to OC this year? Our Z will be in the show on the inside from June 10th-12th, you should stop by if you're there.

We'll be tackling the install ourselves, and hopefully work with Tuan from GRDPerformance out in Chicago for a pre-tuned chip for our setup...otherwise it will be tuned out of the box conservatively for a little while.

That's sad...the 350Z stuff isn't topping your list. Oh well, glad you're here now, and the best of luck in everything you do. The only thing I'd say for encouragement: do something different, find the improvement that no one else has found, I personally am always looking for the good outside-the-box ideas (that work). Again though, glad you're here.

I was not; I dont even own a Z yet. However, I have noticed there is another member here called Bat, so maybe you are thinking of him. I didnt know anyone here was called Bat when I registered the name, and it never really occured to me to change the name, as Bat is the name I use for everything I do online.

I do recall asking about a certain hood at one point, however; maybe that is what you are referring to. At that point, I was just curious as to what kind of hoods had scoops in them. I would like one of those, although I don't much care for the different colored hood. That was what I was referring to in my post; the fact that the hood was a different color than the car. I know that some people love that, but it's not my cup of tea.

Yup, that was my confusion lol!

Not that it isn't on the top of the list, just that we already have a bunch of stuff in the works. I'm confident that the products we do release for the Z when ready will be some of the best out there...but time will tell of course!

Active Tuning makes great products and their customer support is top notch! I have dealt with Dave in the past with products for my altima and would definitely buy from again.
