What no s-tune coil-overs, only:

S-tune 54600-RSZ30US Stabilizer Bars (Front and Rear Set) MY03/All without VDC $ 500.00

The price is no better than importing, and what do they mean by "all without VDC"? It had better not mean only for cars without VDC. It would be ironic since this would exclude the track model from using it. We know it fits on VDC cars so is it warrenty related?

No kidding, you can get the stabilizers and suspension for 1600 from japanparts, while nissan will have it for 2300. I don't think I want a $700 warrenty.

Wonder why the suspension set does not have the S-tune designation in front of it.

Mike"Austin", Thanks for keeping us in the loop for nissan parts. For those who havn't had the pleasure of working with Austin and Vaden Nissan let me say his knowledge has been from both the mechanical side of Nissan dealerships and from Autocrossing his Z32.,not to mention his rise to parts and finally parts manager. He has installed his own Nismo parts and has great times on the track. We miss him at Va. Bch. but I still buy thru him and the dealership Nice post , P.S. I bought my car, accessories , oil filters.etc.etc. from him.Y

Wow.. Nice, but kinda pricey, You think when you Mod your car at the dealership with those mods, would the Dealer Reporgram your Ecu for you, like what we have been Waiting for from Cheston? or would the gains not be apparent?? Sorry for my Stupidy...

Yes, owners of the Track model will be very upset if the NISMO suspension is only for non-VDC cars. If that really is the case, Nissan really let us down on this one. Unbelievable is all I can say.

Maybe the VDC is not calibrated to work with that suspension set up under all conditions, so Nissan doesn't want to risk sanctioning that combination even though it may be okay most of the time. Anyway, this is first question I plan to ask my dealer after the 15th of June.

Enthusiast doesn't have VDC either, just TCS.

Stuff seems rather pricy, 4 camshafts @ $400 each!!

I wonder how much HP you gain from the floor mats and license plate frame...

Default S-tune

The prices listed are "RETAIL".
The letter said "lucrative sales and profit opportunity". That means there is some "room" in there for discounting.

The "Suspension set" shows (Springs + Shocks) and "maybe" it is the whole kit, to include sway bars.

I'm going to look at some web sites and see if I can match up the part numbers.

If this pricing structure is an example of all of NISMO's parts coming into the country, some smart dealerships should be trying to become a volume dealer, so they can discount the parts they receive. If they don't, I wouldn't buy any part at all at the prices they are quoting. I thought Japan Parts was high, but these are exorbitant unless they waited for our currency value to drop, which is unlikely given they are coming out almost a year after the cars started coming.

BTW, non-VDC cars are Base, Enthusiast, and 5AT Touring models. No S-Tune for 6MT Touring, Performance and TRACK! It would be interesting to hear why they are excluded.

My Track Model (with VDC) has the S-Tune on it already!! Looks pretty pricey. The price at Japanparts has already dropped $200 since the time I bought it. You could get it shipped to your door for about $1900 (including duty). Unless that $1800 includes the sways.

I have to believe a version of the suspension is coming in the fall for the VDC equipped models. Now that I think about, I thought I remember an article in Sport Z about a NISMO engineer testing the suspension on the Touring model.

If they don't come out with a set up for the VDC cars, they loose money and we loose out on the upgrade. Doesn't seem logical from any perspective, especially given the target market for the Track model. If anyone from NISMO is out there, please shed some light on this.
Thanks.
