Default Bridgestone Tread Life Question...

This question is for those who did NOT have tire feathering...
How many miles did you get out of your factory Bridgestones before replacement?

Just replaced them today with Michelin Pilots (eek, expensive).
Had 22,000 miles on the Craptenzas, some feathering.

mine are dying at just under 13,000. By 15,000 they will be gone for sure.

15-20K seems about right. I run S03s on wifes maxima and got 18K. I will be happy with 12K on these with all the hot ******* I do. Then it will be S03s on the Z.

I street my MR2 on S03s and weekend on A008Rs. They last about 5-8K per set.

Just figure on trading mileage for grip. Which would you rather have?

I have 37,000 miles on the original Bridgestone tires. I have an 03 (purchased in Sept 2002) touring with 18" tires. I had a feathering problem early on; a front rotation and alignment took care of the problem for a while - I do have the roaring sound on braking and low speed runs, but traveling up and down the Garden State Parkway in NJ at high speed, I don't stop or slow down too often.
The rear tires are at the wear bars now, the fronts still have quite a bit left. I just started looking for new tires.
