Where are you getting yours painted? I am sorta by your area (gig harbor). What color car do you have?

 

i got cheaper quote in some of my homie , he works in a autobody shop .
300 bucks for repaint and to fill the silly license plate hole .

it's chrome silver . where is gig harbor ? never heard of it before.

 

I have been using my nissan nose mask since new and I have had 0 problems. No chips no fading nada.
I have been wondering what everybody has against nose masks.

 

clear bra . but it cost 5 times than nose mask .

It just looks 100 times more noticeable than paint chips!

 

my bud in bodyshop can do repaint , and get rid of the license plate hole for 250 bucks.
ne1 in WA should go to his shop . he's a nice bud and ive had my older car worked by him for a long time and always satisfied w his job.

 

I'm sure it's fine. The no wash thing for 2-3 days after install is more because of the high-pressure car washes...

 

Yeah, but the car will look like hell in between.

 

I figured screw it, unless its some serious paint chipage, i figure i'll drive it for 5 years then have the whole car repainted and start again

 

I hate being able to see the clear bra lines on the bumper, to me it looks worse than a rock chip here and there. I got an estimate of around $1200 to repaint the front bumper, hood and one front panel that got chipped from someone egging the car. Seems like a good price? Btw does the clear bra turn yellow after time or prolonged sunlight?

 

no clear bra with 3M film has lifetime warranty .
