Good luck man. I've been meaning to do the same (have the front bumper painted and removing the holes), but I think I'll save that money for now... hopefully getting a TK front end

screw front plate, I almost **** a brick when they asked if they could drill 2 hols in the front of my car for plates, I was like "if those drills come near my car i'll kill someone!" and on the other hand, If it doesnt come with holes from the factory then it doesnt need the holes at all

I never subscribed any Z boards before I got my Z, so I had no idea that the front plate required drill holes for application... boy was I pissed when I found out a few weeks after delivery

Sorry your dealers drilled you

I was one of the first pre orders for the Z and found out early on about the front plate holes. That's why I invented and patented the 'Zee-Bracket'. By the way, the bracket that fits in the tow hook is not a 'Zee-Bracket'. It is a Strictly Z knock off.

There are several dealers here in So Calif that put the 'Zee-Bracket' on every Z that comes in. No holes ever...gotta love them.

My recommendation, if you must run a plate and already have holes, a 'Zee-Bracket', of course, and

I bought my car used, and the previous owner drilled holes in the front bumper In NJ it is required to have a front plate, and though there are holes in my bumper anyway, i will not put a plate on there....

I guess I must be lucky. I live in California and have not had a front license plate on any of my cars since 1989. That includes the Z and two Eclipse GS-Ts. Been pulled over a few times, but I guess the cops were pretty cool about it or did not notice. Of course, now that I said that, I'll probably get a ticket for it tomorrow.

Some parts of CA are more notorious for front plate enforcement than others... I live in the East Bay and the police could seemingly care less about front plates. Guess they're other crimes going on that take precedent. But SF and a select few other Bay Area cities crack down with the quickness.
