A buddy of mine snapped some really hi-res shots of my Z at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this past weekend. I'm thinking about making these into large posters (36" x 24" or so). Would anyone be interested in buying posters for their garage? I have a few more images that I would make into posters, but they need a little more photoshop work before I post them.








I'm intending to take a few long-exposure night shots for poster images as well. I'm planning to put one up in my office and one or two in the garage.

Yeah, car isn't very clean, and it looks like it needs to be a little lower, then I would consider it. Plus, the pictures aren't great, they are good just because of the location though. Looks good none-the-less.

 

Those tires definately should have been cleaned up beforehand.

 

I'm with nis350ztt. The pictures arent great. They're nice, but it lacks something to make me want to buy a print. I'd be happier taking a picture and printing my own.

 

i want a poster of a z coming over a hill, catching some air like that porsche one i've seen.

If you blackened the tires and then retook the first picture (ie-the same place, except with black tires), I'd definitly conisder buying it. Cost would be a factor, however. I can't afford to spend $40 or $50 on a poster.

 

Suppose he could 'chop the tires to look shiny, wet and black...

 

great, then the posters should be REAL cheap

 

1. There is a lot more work to be done in Photoshop before the image would be printed. This was a quick post just to show the scene. Saturation, temperature, and hue all need adjustment, as well as some cleanup of digital artifacts, etc. The tires can also be artificially "cleaned" and I will probably spend some time doing that in the next few days. The pictures you see in magazines don't come looking like that right off of the camera, folks.

2. Didn't have time to wash it. A friend was in town with a nice SLR digital camera, and there wasn't enough time to go through any real prep. I'm planning to do another shoot with a clean car and more locations, scenes. In particular, I want some long exposure night shots, with the city as a background.

nice pics, i saw your post over on ot earlier. I wanted to get some shots of my z in garden of the gods before moved out of colorado but never got the chance.
