Default Need Opinions!!!!

Ok, so I'm looking to buy a Z when my lease runs up in June. I went to a local Dealership and checked out a Brickyard. His reply to if I ordered the car when would I get it was I should order in Feb for June. However, I'm under the impression that if I order, I can't negotiate as much as I could if the car was already on the lot. I'm kind of flexible on some issues like color (as long as it's Daytona, Lemans, Brickyard or SuperBlack) and the extra crap, but I want to get an automatic. My thinking is that if I buy the car on the lot, especially in late June, around when the 04 version is coming out and the convertible as well, as well as all the other tricks you pull out on a dealer (Late at night, go when it's raining, etc.) that I will get a better deal than if I order it. Am I right? Definately want opinions on this....

And is the dealer inventory accurate on the Nissan Website?

I would wait. Only order if you must have certain options, color combo or whatever. By June of next year you should be able to find one you like and maybe, just maybe, for less. You may have to search around more.

The NNA dealer inventory list is probably about 80% accurate. It all depends on how quickly the dealer turns the stock, when and of course NNA's data input, both coming and going.

You should be able to get better than MSRP in June. How much off is the question? I would guess not more than $1000 prolly a few hundred (too early to say). If you are not that particular on color and options, I would definately get one off the lot.

Dealer inventory is not very accurate. My car is still showing in the inventory. Bought it two weeks ago.
