Expected delivery 11/26/02!!!!!
Dealer originally told me to expect delivery in late January/early February.
Called me today and was as suprised as I was when the Nissan trucking sheet showed expected delivery of my car to the dealership tomorrow, 11/26 !!!!!!!!!!!!
He said it may be a couple days more due to the holiday, but
I CAN BARELY CONTAIN MYSELF!

I was incredibly suprised by the early delivery. The main reason I decided to order in October was that I anticipated spring delivery, as I don't drive my Zs in the winter anyway. I guess it looks like my new Z will sit in my garage and get aquainted with it's "great-grandfather" 1970 240Z for a few months. Hopefully I can get in a few driving days if it is a milder winter.
I have discovered that the west coast shipping problems did not at all affect east coast deliveries. I understand that Zs destined for the northeast USA are shipped to Newark. There must have been a clear pipeline for sure, because if today's delivery date holds true, that would be about 8 weeks from order to delivery!

By the way, as of today, my car IS NOT on my dealer inventory on NissanUSA.com. So, for those of you waiting.....the time may be MUCH shorter than you think! Call your dealer!

Called today about ETA, guess what dealer told me anyday now the vechile will arrive. I was regionally told Dec, then Jan. He also gave me my Vin#107972. Will be a Happy Thanksgiving for me

Ok....so it's not here!
I am told that it is somewhere between port and here. With the holiday thrown in it will probalbly be next week sometime.

Delivery Date Update....
In an effort to help all of you who, like me, are anxiously awaiting the delivery of their Z.............
My dealer now tells me that the latest info from Nissan says that my car is expected in upstate New York the third week of December, between the 20th and the 28th. I hope it is sooner than later, because I think that the holiday week will put everyone in the slow mode!
So, to recap:

In any event, this stands to be the best Christmas present I ever got!
