I'm 19 and in 6months to a year i plan on buying a car, i have many options in the same price range of the 350Z, and i am looking for a fun to drive and fast car. so i guess, why did you buy your Z?

because it looks classy yet quick, it is quick, and hell I love the feeling it gives me knowing I have car that is bost fast and gorgeous

I cross-shopped a crapload of quick coupes and convertibles (audi tt, porsche boxster, vette, s2000, 6-speed accord, etc) and the Z put the biggest smile on my face, was the most comfortable for me, and it didn't hurt that it looks damned good, too.

well, ok, the accord was more comfortable ... and it did actually come down to a new accord or slightly used Z. But my wife's final question was "all practicality aside, which one excites you more?" That was an easy answer.

I also test drove everything you can think of under $75,000. The Z was the best deal in terms of a coupe/sports car. I enjoyed the RX-8 as well, but it has a severe lack of power. Sometimes I think I should have bought the C6 Vette when I see them on the street, but oh well. It was 20 grand more and the Z is pretty cool too, just not nearly as fast as I'd like it to be.

because I could afford it....something to consider at 19 years old. $30k is a lot of debt on top of college bills.

I got my Z, because it was a new car and I wanted something new to mod... most other cars were kind of played out...
