Went to Moscone Center yesterday for the SF Int'l Auto Show. Big disappointment. Nothing new that catched my eye (well except the Z, of course, and the new SCION)
Finally, was able to compare Z vs G35 and the only thing I would take from G35 to my Z is the sliding screen and onboard computer. Nothing else! Z's design (both interior and exterior) is much better, IMHO.
Sat in Mersedes SL500 - not bad, but too expensive. Saw VW Beatles with turbos, new Hummer H2s, and some others.
Was really impressed by the new prototypes of SCION. On SCION Website it says, Presented by Toyota Motor Sales, USA, LTD. Interesting...Their audio set-up was outstanding. Interior is very attractive. I am not posting any pics, as you can see them all on their website.
I was hoping some aftermarket manufacturers would be there, but as usual for this type of show, no one was there. Oh, well, will have to go to SEMA next year.
