Stranded freighter alight off Tokyo!!!

TOKYO, Japan (CNN) -- A freighter carrying almost 4,000 vehicles is burning out of control off the coast of Japan, forcing evacuations from a nearby island community.
The 56,835-ton Hual Europe has been stranded off Izu-Oshima, a small island about 129 kilometers (80 miles) south of Tokyo, since last month and caught fire on Tuesday.
The ship, registered in the Bahamas and owned by a Norwegian shipping firm, is carrying 3,885 vehicles worth over $80 million and ran aground October 1 while trying to ride out a typhoon. It was on its way to Jamaica from Yokohama.
The 24-member crew was rescued a day later.
On Tuesday, smoke was billowing from the Hual Europe and the threat of explosion as well as the heavy smoke forced dozens of local residents to be evacuated from the island.
Japan Coast Guard boats and a helicopter have been unable to get close enough to the stranded vessel to fight the blaze, officials said.
By midday, the hulk had rolled onto its side against a rocky cliff, local media reported.
Officials have also expressed concerns about environmental damage caused by more than 400,000 liters of oil that has leaked from the ship.
Coast Guard officials said the ship shouldn't sink as it is stranded in waters too shallow.
In a separate incident, Chinese officials are warning ships to steer clear of the area where a fuel tanker carrying 20,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas is still on fire near Hong Kong and at risk of exploding.
The Panamanian-registered Gaz Poem tanker caught fire on Sunday in the South China Sea, about 38 kilometers (24 miles) east of Hong Kong Island.
All shipping has been advised to keep at least 10 nautical miles (18.5 km) away from the burning vessel. (Full story)
The mishaps come less than a week after a tanker carrying more than 70,000 tons of oil broke in half and sank off the Spanish coast, spilling thousands of tons of oil into the sea. (Spain steps up cleanup)

But probably a slim chance any Zs are onboard due to the volume of other cars coming through Yoko.
