A 350Z Delivered This Week!
Hey Everybody, I just received a call from a friend of mine that is aware that I'm currently waiting on my "Z" to arrive. He just informed me that a friend of his that supposibly is some "big shot" w/political ties in Galveston TX. just received his brand new 2003 Black 350Z!!! What's up with that? I personally don't know his friend but I'm going to make it a point to meet him. I'm calling my sales rep first thing in the morning to get more info. Has anyone else heard of anyone receiving their car yet? My sales rep. told me that mine is the 6th car that was ordered and will be on their first allocation that should arrive in mid July. Please advise. Thanks

LOL. I don't think so but, I'll definately take pictures if given the opportunity. This guy supposedly is the top dog for the Galveston Port Authority. I'll keep you all posted as more info comes available.

it has been concluded on numerous occasions that big shots will receive the very very very few cars made this month in mid july. The only possibility is that this guy is driving the black 350 in promotional pics, but in this case, the car does not belong to him.
Sorry, you will not be getting a Z in July if you pre-ordered.

While it is normal to some degree for car companies to pull strings for certain people that have "power", I *really* think, with all due respect, that your friend has been misinformed. There are no Z's in the public other than cars that the press has and a few key people with Nissan as test vehicles.
