Rock chips on REAR bumper?? See pic....
Anybody else notice this? I seem to have quite a few chips on the side of the rear bumper, just behind the wheel. Hmmmm I suddenly have a craving for an orange.....

Looks like you have a repaired bumper. there probably were some air holes in the filler material, and those bubbles have popped or had the paint over them removed (washing, waxing, or other means), thus the picture you have. Either that, or someone really had a thing for driving in reverse.

Looks better then my front bumper.... My front bumper looks like there's a bunch of dead bugs/bird **** left on it. Too bad it's really just pitted paint.
Nissan's paint < EVERY OTHER F-ing companies paint.
My car is about to turn 27K miles.
So far it has BY FAR more chips then all 4 of my (left outside in the snow/hail/storms) past cars put together. One of those was 20 years old!!!!!
yet my garaged Z that never sees bad weather looks like it was sandblasted on the front bumper cover.
Sigh....
At least the pros out weigh the cons if not my Z would have been long gone by now.

I still can't understand that my rear bumper get's dirty faster than my sides, maybe it has something to do with suction around the rear bumper or something?

from all 4 tires and others
where as the areodynamic airflow prettymuch protects the sides
basicly its just aerodynamics, have you noticed how Semi trailers are usuallu soooo dirty? same reasons but on a smaller scale...
