Default Poll: If you have scalloping, what wheels do you have?

I am just wondering if there is a correlation between scalloping and the type of wheels you have. 17" 18" or 18" Rays.

Can you add another 3 equivalent choices for "no scalloping"? Also, you might want to suggest that only those with over 4500 or 5000 miles respond.

Anyway, I won't vote, but I have 4700 miles, no scalloping, and the 18" Non-Rays wheels.

I drive pretty hard too (twisty-road/AutoX hard, not drag strip hard).

This is interesting. You say you have no feathering at all? Where has your cold PSI been from day one? 35+? Did you ever let it fall below 35 PSI on cold tires? This could very well be a tire or PSI issue and not a suspension issue like I first surmised.

I don't want Nissan to give me new tires. That's NOT what I'm after. All I want to know is exactly WHAT, if anything might the feathering issue have to do with the suspension and will I ruin my next set of tires. If the cold PSI needs to be say 38 or even 40 to reduce feathering, then Nissan does need to make their customer base aware and issue a TSB as such. If I remember correctly, the S4 on 040s was running 38 PSI cold...

I agree. I do not show the signs and have 17" wheels. To make this a better poll, you need to get the non scalloping included to see if this is a causal effect.

Brad, I am ashamed but I haven't checked my air pressure once Maybe that is the cause
