Default Another unhappy 04 owner with FEATHERING!!!

Sorrty guys.. this is another featheirng thread.

I have 04 Enthusiast with about 15k miles..
Noticed feathering at around 12k..

I called Trophy Nissan in Mesquite,TX and I was told that there was a FIX for 03 feathering but not the 04 models.. what the f........!

I know there is really no fix for feathering.. I was hoping that they would throw in new tires for me but they said I had to pay for them.. WTF

How come you guys don't call Nissan about it? Don't they have an arbitration line?

There is no fix. They just adjusted the toe setting on mine. Some people have gotten new tires. I still have the annoying tire roar and feathering. If I didn't love my Z so much I'd get rid of it. I guess Nissan hopes we all just learn to live with it and go away. They're obviously not too concerned about fixing the problem.

someone on one of these forums compared the suspension of an 05 & an 04 ( i mean everything, camber, toe, etcetc) and they were identical... so basically no changes on the 05 to deal with feathering...

i have an 04 and my feathering just started at 14600 miles
