Default set a date with the service department.......

so I went in to the Nissan dealership yesterday and he noticed my tires wearing wronge, so under warranty they are going to replace my front tires and do an allignment, has anyone else done this? if so is there something else that will have to be done as well? and im not real familier with tire feathering, is this it?

Yes- It sounds as if you have the notorious feathering issue.

Yes. That is the "cure" under the feathering TSB. Although it's debateable if it in fact fixes the problem. Are you hearing tire growl under 30 mph?

Welcome to the boards Timmy boy! haha I love your username. Yes, you have feathering, or at least it was beggining to feather if you didnt hear it roar. Yep, there is something else you have to do after they fix your car up, get it fixed again and again and again. Welcome to the 350 tire muncher. Oh well, its worth it. I love this car, just have to not put diapers on the little one for a month or so so I can buy new tires twice a year. haha BEN

Well to give u some hope, they fixed my car under the tsb and i drove 15k miles without the feathering returning. Then i bought aftermarket wheels so we shall see. Seems like mine is fixed??!!
