Bose audio, new speakers, amp...
Hi all,
I've got an '03 Touring with the Bose audio, and am looking into replacing the speakers/amp and keeping the stock head unit. I went to a shop, and they basically told me that the new amp would be hooked up AFTER the old amp. I.e. there would now be TWO amps in my car, the factory blose amp and the new one.
Does this sound right to anybody? I figured the factory amp could be taken out and just replaced with a new one. Also, I've heard the worst part of the factory system is the amp... so leaving it in seems like a bad idea.
