Another damaged Z story w/ pics
Well it was about 7pm and i was hungry for some dinner. So i get on the 101 to head to some place for a quick dinner... well as iam driving along iam in the middle lane... doing about 68 in the 65? Kinda dark, cant see too far ahead only like cars.... then all of a sudden about maybe 15feet infront of me... i see a coyote darting out on the 101 and heading in my lane.... i brake as fast and hard i could.. but yet to no escape... i clip the back half of him and i hear a big CRUNCH of my newly painted and put on custom Esprit Bumper, mind you i just had this installed painted and fit and got my car back last week tuesday, so once again back to story... i hear a big crunch and notice parts of my bumper flying off... and i feel the coyote just gettn ran over... and at the time my wheels start to spin out, and i almost did a 90degree angle before correcting myself... which would have been really bad cause i had cars to the left of me... and one to the right a lil back a bit... so i correct myself, while yelling, THAT MOTHER PHUCKING PIECE OF $HIT, GOTTA BE PHUCKING KIDDING ME.... sorry for the language, but i was PISSED... doesnt that just figure? i get the Esprit kit on and what do u know it gets messed up.. o well there are more important things in life, like atleast i didnt hurt anyone, or hit anyother cars and i thank god for that. So i get off the 101 and stop by the nearest parking lot which is mcdonalds.. call AAA and the family... and sit back and almost cry cause i have to watch my car get towed away back to my house
. The things that i have noticed that got messed up so far was obviously my front bumper.. my injen CAI intake filter, the fender, and thats all i can see for now, havnt checked the front brace yet, will do tomorrow.
Now to the part everyone probably wants to see, cause pics are always fun to look at arnt they..

And i know the coyote aint alive.. and if he is.. hes missing some chunks, cause my tire shows it.. ewww

Idk maybe ill choose a different front bumper, ill see how backed up Do-Luck is, and gotta see how much the insurance is gonna cut me a check for.

Dayum!? Sorry to hear that bro. Suprised with the look of the damage of your bumper that your headlights stayed in tact. I guess what happened is that the coyote (on impact) got pulled under the front left corner of the bumper which caused the bumper to pull down & get dragged on the road, thus ripping that piece off. Your fender doesn't look too bad though. But at least you're okay & nobody else got hurt. Could've been worse if you lost control of your car. Good luck man & keep us posted.

hahaha i could MAYBE do a front and a rear doluck.. but not the sides. Iam gonna see how much Intense has on the receipt for everything i payed, and how much they are gonna quote to fix everything then tell the insurance that when they come out. I still cant believe this happened... like a bad dream... just keep seeing that coyote run out infront of me and then BAM there goes pretty bumper.
Anyone interested in the Esprit rear? lol

Damn, that sux. Look on the bright side, it could have damaged your hood, windshield, roof if it'd bounced off of your car. Hope the insurance helps.
The lights on the Z is set to shine too low, stock. It's especially bad driving in Arizona, because with their light pollution law, some streets are dark like hell. If you haven't adjusted your headlights to shine a bit higher, maybe you should check it out. For those who don't know, it's simple (turn the star * under the light housing to go up/down). Hope you get your Z back and driving soon, GL.

Sorry to hear that man, I just can't believe how much $h!t had happened to our Phoenix azg35.com memebers lately. Glad that your alright and didn't hit anyone. Hope you will have better luck dealing with your insurance and body shop than I do
They are still giving me bunch of bullshiat and runarounds, 2+ months, still not doing anything. Things are getting outta my control.
