Default Free Jetta Car Wash

I was driving home today doing 70 on the 55 mountain curves and two cars come blazing up on me. So I move over and pull in behind to see what these cars are doing and I got a free car wash!!! What is that all about??? First I thought it was raining. But then the Jetta did it again, but he missed me the second time. Made me laugh the second time. So I just followed them and they slowed down and so I went back to boring cruise control. Is this something new?

I still don't get it either. I work for Volkswagen, and i've never heard of Jetta's with water guns in the rear.

I have a Jetta, yes, the windshield spray thing fires WAAAAY over the car and can hit the guy behind you.

Ha...my friend turned his washers so the driver side washes the windshield and the passenger one sprays directly into the right lane. LOL

That's a pet peeve of mine... I only use the washer fluid at a dead stop so I don't spray others... except for an emergency.

Thought about the windshield spray at first too... seems rather dangerous though that his spray is hitting your car and possibly your windshield (plausibly unexpectantly blurring your vision) on the mountain twisties...

Anywhere but OREGON where it is always suddenly raining that could be a problem Come to think of it, I now think it was PEEE as he was just going too darn fast for the conditions and needed emergency relief.

Seriously, I think this is a bad idea as you mention. I hope this is not some new stupid trend.

It is a trend...a trend amongst assholes. Happened to me yesterday. Going along in the right lane and merge to the left and some ass in front of me hits the washers. Kept doing it right till the point I passed him. Luckily I had a water bottle with the sport top and squirted him back. LOL

on my old civic i ran the hose for the washer fluid up into the front grill so it would shoot a stream of water out like a super soaker..i didnt have holes in my cf hood for the washer nozzles so i thought it would be funny to have some sort of spraying device in the front of my car..the only people i would spray would be my friends..and it was only water so no harm done

HAHA nice! That is one of the good things about having a civic...you can do stuff like that w/o looking like a tool. LOL
