Very COOL...

The RUN is a short film for DVD that captures the Nissan Z on a 5.7 mile, six and a half minute blast through the narrow, slick, cobblestone streets of the city of Prague.

Not like BMW Films, No overblown stories, over-the top stunts, or high tech special effects to detract from the pure, visceral experience of being behind the wheel of the Z, blasting through a beautiful European City.

 

Very cool. I am definatly going to get that dvd.

Worked for me, cool shots, I want to take a look at how they filmed the front view shots. Kind of reminds me of how I drive to work everymorning and why I bought the Z in the first place

What is Group Z?

 

Group Z is the Z Car Club of Southern California. A Nissan Marketing rep was at our meeting last month, and previewed the movie trailer for us. He is bringing the DVD's for each member to our meeting in January.

I wish I would've asked him what their overall plans are for distributing the DVD. Not sure if it is something they plan on selling, or giving away. I'm thinking it's a giveaway item; like a promotional / press thing.

 

That was great. I wonder if that was in cooperation with the locals. It didn't seem like it was.

 

Wait a minute Scaf.......are they giving it away to only those at the meeting or to ALL members. Also, are they GIVING or SELLING?

 

The marketing guy said he would show up at the January meeting (as long as the DVD is ready prior to our meeting date), and 'give' all the members a DVD. I doubt that he will be giving Group Z enough DVD's for every member of the car club, as then Group Z would have to distribute them. So I think it is a benny for those that show up at the monthly meetings.

Did you really join Group Z? If so, as we get closer to January, I'm sure we can arrange to get one sent out to you (I'd be happy to pick it up and mail it to ya).

Heck....maybe the DVD will be available to the masses even before Group Z gets theirs from NNA. Let's see what happens as we get closer to the release date.
