Default People with Chrome Shift ***** , Hot During the Summer ?

I'm thinking about getting the Nismo Chrome Shift **** for the Z . But then I thought about how hot the metal on seatbelts can get after parking a car for a while during the summer . Does the shifter get extremely hot ? If so , is it unbearable to shift ?

Yes, I've had the Nismo Chrome Aluminum shift **** on my car before.... that thing gets HOT! I had to leave school one day shifting with a sock (an old one that I use to dust around the car) over the shift **** just so I could get home...

If you're going to park in the sun or something, I'd put something (like a cloth or something) so that you can minimize the direct sunlight heat absorption. I now have the Nismo GT Ti ****, and it doesn't get as hot... heck, I had it in the sun just the other day for awhile and was surprised at how hot it didn't get...

Depends upon how hot and how long it's been sitting in the sun (in a sealed black car), I guess... mine took awhile to cool off and it was d@mned hot

I have the same **** but in black, it gets VERY VERY hot and very cold in hot/cold. Not unbearable but can be a pain in the a$$ sometimes. Look at the bright side a 120 degree shift **** will help you shift faster = less time on the shifter, hehe.

I've got the chrome nismo w/ carbon fiber and damn does it get hot, but only if I don't put my windshield sunblock thing up. if you don't use one of those I'd make sure to have a sock or rag around otherwise you may have a hard time....
