Bring the clock back to the upper dash!!!
For any of you that had an original 240/260/280Z, I'm sure you remember that there was a clock in one of the 3 round gauges over the radio. I believe it was the far right gauge.. While 90% of them stiopped running after a year or two, I would like to see them make one available as a function of the left gauge. Having to take your eyes off the road to look down at the radio is very poor.. The display on the radio is very hard to see in Bright sunlight.. I would also like to see a compass incorporated on the left gauge too.. Very handy..
Any others feel this is a good idea?? I'm sure it's very easy to do..

The original clocks were cheap junk.. The new ones are electronic with no moving parts so there should be no problem.. They could just add it as one more function to the left gauge.. Very simple..

I agree
I said the same thing, and asked for practical solutions:

I agree. Besides being in an awkward position, the clock in the stereo display is almost invisible when wearing polarized sunglasses, whereas the trip computer display remains highly readable at all times.
Adding a clock function to the trip computer would have zero added materials cost as it would just be a firmware revision (not that software development comes for free, or I wouldn't be getting paycheck!)
