Thumbs up This car rocks!

I just picked up my DB Touring w/Aero and floormats on 11/29. All I have to say is wow!.

Pictures do not do the blue justice. It is simply beautiful. I am so glad I got the blue. It really turns heads and gets noticed, even at night. The power is incredible. A slight touch of the gas and you are gone. This car is one sweet ride.

VIN: 5549
Order date 9/5
Delivery date: 11/29

We have similar dick Nissan dealers around here. There's more than one dealer in the world, though. Shop around. I went to a smaller town a few miles from the city and found a great dealer (Central Carolina Nissan, Sanford, NC) selling all 350Zs for MSRP.

yeah, so I went to the infiniti dealer right across the nissan dealer. and they can get z for msrp. they were 10000000x better with customers. in nissan dealer, that guy told me, " get out of the car." But i didn't hear it, my friend did. If I did, I would yell at him infront of everybody and embrass him.

so after that, what if they don't do good services and ****. so...I'm kind of middle of no where. can't decide which car to get. but I did appreciate the quailty of the interior and exterior of the G35 coupe. I know 350z exterior is very very sexy and nice. but the quailty, I give 10 out of 10 for the G35 if 350z is 8.5.
Damn the windows automatically role down a bit and goes up when closed. (though I would want the orange leather for the G35.)

I want the kind of experience like Acura's I had.
They gave me a soda, and cookie. Even willing to set me up an test drive for NSX if i want to. no cars can't go over msrp in Acura by the rule. (but some dealers do.)

so it's hard. should I go for the luxury which is 0.14sec slower than 350z or vise versa.

sorry to hear, but you are not alone in your experience, I now own a G35 coupe because of the same basic reason. I consider the G35 and the Z car brothers, and both are great. I chose the G for the better warranty and service. Also, im an old fart, and I like the classier mellow look of the G versus the more agro feel of the Z.

Whatever you buy, the Z or the G35, definitely buy it from the Infi dealer. No-brainer. (The Infi mechanics will be able to service the Z.) Then take whatever you buy over to the Nissan dealership, ask to speak to the General Manager, and explain in excruciating detail why you did what you did.

I understand your dilemma, though. Going from a V6 EX Accord to a two-seater Z is going to cramp my life a little. If I didn't have a 350Z on the way (with deposit) I'd be tempted to opt for the G35. As it is, I have already decided that if the move to a two-seater just doesn't cut it for me (family, etc.) the G35 will be what I try next.

I got the performance package. 6MT, 18 inch wheels, brembos, sports suspension, LSD. Black on black. Sunroof, upgraded stereo, leather, autodim mirror, dual zone temperature controll, heated seats. I paid MSRP, was right at 35k.

Well, people are the same no matter where you go.

I actually went to Grubbs Infinity lot to purchase a G35 after work.
When I arrived at the lot I was the only customer there and four sales men where standing around in the main lobby.

I walked the lot and looked at each G35 expecting someone to come out and assist me. Amazed that no one bothered to come out and greet me I walked the lot again. STILL no one came to assist me, just looked out the window to see if I was still there.

Now I was pissed. My car was parked right in front of the showroom floor. Furious to no end, I got in my car and laid one hell of a scratch right in front of the main lobby. That very night I went to Don Davis Nissan and purchased the Z on the showroom floor for MSRP.

They probably pride themselves on their low-pressure sales tactics!

Carolina Nissan in Burlington, NC has 3 Z's sitting in the show room.

6MT
Red Touring/Black interior with everything except nav.

5AT
White/Black interior - Base Model

5AT
Super Black/Black - Base Model

They had a white with frost interior 6MT. Man it was pretty. Sold as soon as it left the truck.

Not like my black baby though.

Only problem I've had so far is keeping it under 4k RPM.
