Disabling switch for the SRS?
I read somewhere (it slips me where I saw it right now) that a switch to disable the passenger side airbag was going to be a late availability option.
Anyone have any info on this?
The reason I ask is because I have a 7 year old daughter that will be extremely excited to go for rides in the Z when I get it, and the only way I can take her is if I'm able to disable the passenger SRS.
Thanks

I was looking into this, too. Basically, you have to cut a major sh*t-load of US Government red tape to get authorization to install a SRS cutoff switch. This seems to involve weeks of processing, etc.
Maybe I got discouraged too easily. Here's a link you can follow to download the application form:
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov
I also found a few hits on after-market switches by searching for the obvious things in Yahoo!
Good luck!

I just found where I read it. It's in one of the Z's brochures. The one that comes with the sealed limited edition catalog. The brochure itself is the one with the 16 different pictures of the different parts of the car on the front.
But what I still want to know is....when is this option going to become available, and what will the cost be?
