I wasn't going to get a Z until they released the next prototype.

Seriously, I was eating cereal when I saw it and nearly spit it all over the counter.

I would have never considered it. It would have been the G35C for me.

Gosh you guys, make me get out my Road and Track March '99

Nissan Z Concept General Data
Curb Weight - 3100lbs
Wheelbase - 96.3 in
Track, f/r - 57.8 in./58.6 in.
Length - 163.1 in.
Width - 68.0 in.
Height - 55.1

Here's the uh... fun stuff... =\

Engine
Type - dohc 4 valve/cyl inline-4 (ugh... ya performs well)
Displacement - 2389cc
Horsepower - 200bhp @ 6200 rpm
Torque - 181 lb-ft @ 5200 rpm

Performance
0-60mph - 7.0
1/4 mile = 15.5

Basically a 240SX

In the same magazine they show the new eclipse and celica which are both faster than the Z concept car... which is pathetic considering the Z was always a sports car and they made that concept into a sports coupe. =\

Good thing someone at Nissan must have had the ***** to say... "people, this is crap! If we build this thing we'll flush our whole company down the toilet with it. We need a REAL sportscar dammit!" That's what I imagine went down, at least.
