Anyone with that "new car smell"?
Does anyone still have "new car smell". little over a year now (04-14-04) i get friends that tell me all the time that i still have that "new car smell". I think it's amazing that after so long i still do. Sometimes i even avoid driving with my windows down, because i think the new car smell is gonna vanished ( i know it's dumb, but thats me). No smoking-eating-farting in my Z.

Mine still has it. Has a lilttle over 8,700 miles on it. No drilnking, smoking, eatilng in it. I regroup, we have had a drink in it now and then. Very careful. Kept in the garage and hand washed/cleaned with micro cloth and leaf blower only. Inside cleaned with micro cloth only, and no fake smelling junk. Still smells new.

exactly like my old room mate's '03. Over 55,000 miles and STILL that new car smell. He's a non smoker, no food, no drinking in car type of guy too. My '05 has 2700 miles on her so of course mine has the new car smell still!

If you have leathear seats in your car, and you treat them with Lexol.... People will probably give you comments that your car smells new.
I try to treat mine once every 2 or 3 months with the stuff, and it never fails to illicit some new-car smell remarks from my passengers.
