There is no guarantee that they will give you low 13's. Most Z's dont gain much HP from basic boltons unless they are tuned via a standalone or ECU reflash. Also, its all about traction and if you can pull off one hell of a launch to net a low 60' time.

Cant he just buy a piggyback unit and tune it? would be alot cheaper then the standalone.. and about the same tuning capacity (for NA's).

There are no piggyback units for Z's that I'm aware of.

Those bolt ons will give you some power, but there is no way to know exactly how much, and low 13's is pretty aggressive. Other things like rubber and driver come into play as well. Your best bet is to dyno your car BEFORE you do the bolt ons, and then after, to get a measure of what impact they are having. And, take it out to the track and have some fun figuring out how close to a low 13 you can get....

i highly doubt you'll get low 13's with those basic parts, plus if you have automatic trans...forget it

Why? There is no performance difference between the manual and the auto.

if you want low 13's you will have to do some rear camber adjustment before anything else so you can get a better launch...

I am waiting till after break in to run stock. But don't plan on mods other than tint and splash guards. I like it the way it is.
