Problem with storeage in armrest?
I'm just wondering if this is a problem. I noticed on my Z that the little storeage which contains the 2 cup holders is a little abnormal. When I press the release button, it doesn't pop up or anything, so I end up having to hold the release while using another finger/hand to pull it open. Usally when you press the button, it pops up a bit so you can easly open it... Is this just mine, or anyone elses too? It's not a big deal, but I was curious.

On mine if the cup holders are in the rear position the door won't popup. If I move the cup holders to the front position it will.
It's an undocumented design feature. lol

On mine if I push the button and hold for about 2 seconds it always pops up. If I don't hold it down it does nothing. I wonder if they designed it that way.
Give it a try!

What is happening is that when the lid is pushed on those two little rubber pads on the bottom for more then a few hours, it sticks to them. If you notice, once you free it up, close it and push the button it will work...until you park it for a few hours and try again.

yup... it seems you gotta hold it down for a little bit and it will open- i wonder if its supposed to mimick some other things on the car like the motion of the nav door?
