Hi all,
The wife and I are heading to Niagara Falls later this summer.
Any comments/suggestions: where to stay/where not to stay,
roads to take/roads to avoid, speed trap areas/let'er rip areas,
and any other ideas about having a fun, safe, Z-friendly trip.

That is a long trip. I hope you'll be ok in the Z. You can pretty much let'er rip on 75 in the desolate country areas. Although when i go to Niagra Falls(Canada side), its in a van so i haven't had much of a chance to do that

Go to Toronto and have a night out on the town if you can !

 

From where I live upstate NY to the falls there are no speed traps I'm aware of through the I 90, I 290, I 190. That's the route you'll follow when you get up here. Lot's of troopers on the I 90 though. Both US and Canadian falls are spectacular and on the US side park in the State Park car park and take a walk around there. However, cross the Rainbow Bridge into Canada and stay on the Canadian side. Lot's of better hotels, the casino, restaurants etc. and the best view. From there, take a trip to a place called Niagara On The Lake. Beautiful old colonial town. Even worth staying a night in a old B&B. Cool place. Should be a good trip.

 

+1...TO is a really nice city and worth checking out if you have the time. It is about 1-1 1/2 hrs down the QEW from the Falls.
