Default Fixed streak/water windows and the rest...

I took my 350 to the Nissan Service yesterday and fixed some of problems I complained on this thread-> https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=12318

1. Greasy/Squeaky/Streak Windows -> Damm... Paint/Rust Proofing Oil causes this problem. There are small halls to let water running out from the door but those halls are clogged by Paint/Rust proofing oil that I paid Cn$500. What the hell.. FIXED by digging through the halls.

2. Squeaky Noise from somewhere - Those irritating sound was from 3rd braking lamp plastic panel on top of the rear window. There are 1/8' gap between the panel and window. They hit each other occasionally. FIXED by putting a thin sponge(can't be noticed from outside) between them.

3. Too hard to shift, car being pulled to the right. - They said two engineer + sales manager drove my car and everybody agreed that there were no problem with neither the tranny nor the alignment. I know shifting is getting better and better as mileage goes up but car is definitely pulling to the right. I think I'm gonna try another dealer on this matter.

Hey Buddy.
I had my car in yesterday as well. Got my winter tires put on and they said that they did not feel any problem shifting from 1st to 2nd. "Road Test: Check for 1st to 2nd gear grind reported by customer...Not detected on road test". Thats fine for me. I just wanted it documented early that I noticed a problem so that when the tranny fails later on, they cant say I abused it because I have it written that at 1980km (before I had even driven the car hard) I felt there was a problem. I'll keep reporting it though. In a month or so when I take it in for the first oil change, I will ask them again to check for it. Right now it is intermittent so it is possible that it was fine for them.

We'll have to get together for a meet with all the Toronto guys when it is warm enough to check out each others cars outside for more the 30 seconds without turning to ice.

what did they do exactly? I have the same problem, you wash your car and two days later when you open the window it comes back up with water!
