I agree. Having it there is quite useful. There's room to gain quick access for some small stuff, but not much else. It kind of takes the place of a decent standard "FRONT" glove compartment.

You know, the the type that you will find in any other vehicle.

How much was this sirius set up installed if you don't mind me asking? Did you get it done at a local shop? I think it looks excellent there and am looking to get it done myself. Thanks.

Isn't that what the HomeLink mirror is for so you won't have to hang dem ugly garage door openers from the visor?

Default Sirius w/ Audiovox PNP2

The PNP2 w/ car kit was $49.95 (normally $149.95) w/ a 12 month pre-paid plan of $142.45. Was a special promo from : http://www.siriusbackstage.com/. I had it installed at Citcuit City for $85.

Thanks for the info. Does the door fold back up and in like normal? In the pic it looks like it just goes up but doesn't retract back in b/c the unit is a little too big.

The unit fits snug in w/ the car kit & does not rattle or move. The door goes up & down w/ no problem at all. I do have a 2004 w/c has a different door hutch vs. a 2003.

My girl can make even 99 cent store shades look good and my brother too. I can go to Gucci and drop $700 and look like an idiot. The sad part is I look fine in my glasses but shades don't work.

Those without the nav. system... what goes in its place? Is it just an open box'ed area when you open the "door" ?

Any pics?

The Z trophies go in there of course.... What do i mean? them lil thong panties the Z seems to make drop everywhere it goes! ... good thing they put some extra storage space behind the passenger seat

Do you know how the '03 and '04 doors are different? I went to look at a sirius reciever yesterday and the reciever itself would fit fine but it has to plug into that little base to work and it seems like this would make it too tall to fit in the hole. Do you have any insight or details on your install? I don't even see a base that yours is plugged into in your pic. Sorry for all the questions.

We have an '03 and an '05. The door on the '03 pops up and then retracts into the dash, the door on the '05 only pops up. I think the '04 is like the '05.
