Has anyone ever tried taking the rear Nissan emblem off before on a Z? Is there holes there?

No, there be no holes there. Just some of that there two sided sticky stuff. Sorry, I just got done razzing that 16 year old who thinks he's getting a Z. Kid couln't type a complete thought if I held a knife to his junk! Just messing with ya. The emblems are held on with double sided adhesive.

You can get it off with dental floss and a heat gun.

I just saw some pics in the Z coupe Roadster forum that showed there are holes there. The guy had 'almost' covered 'em up with the 'Z' from the 350 Z on the left side. But you could still see the hole above the Z.

there are holes in my 03 I have replaced the emblem with a courtesy nissan emblem. If there were no holes i wouldn't have put anything there. the nissan logo is ugly.

I've got holes in my 03, too. I only found out a couple weeks ago when I finally pulled the stupid gigantic emblem off.

As Fowlman said, Courtesy Nissan offers a couple of options...

http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/exterior.html

I went with aluminum look with the black circle and am happy with it...

Options for the holes on the hatchlid on a coupe:

Try a Z emblem. It may be too shall. Here's a site if you are into carbon fiber emblems for the Z:

http://www.lighter.net/products/zemblem/

Check the dimensions. This may cover the holes.

Or, if you want to remove the emblem and replace the stock spoiler, here's a nice one:

http://www.stillen.com/Sportscars_de...d=24695&page=2

This spoiler covers the holes. In fact, you have to remove the emblem to install the spoiler.

YMMV
