I saw a 350z today with a few decals (racing numbers, nismo, volk....). It was sunny and hot today in NY and it got me thinking, can paint fading occur? I actually spoke to the owner, real nice guy. Said he had them decals on his car for a track event and he is taking them off this week. They were on his car for 2 weeks or so. Will his paint fade???

i had my graphics on for almost a year.. you can barely see where they were...

well, except for all the razor blade scratches

 

Razor blade scratches?!?! From taking them off?
Arent you supposed to heat them up first?

 

they were caked on... heating them up would just make the dried out brittle vinyl break faster... couldnt just pull it off...
