I'm 6'3 220lbs and fit pretty snug in the 350z but would be even more comfortable if the seat were pushed back another inch further than it will allow. Has anyone tried to do any adjustments? I did own an S2000 for a week prior to getting the Z and that was the first mod I was planning on doing since it was a much tighter fit and I remember seeing a thread on S2Ki on how to do this. I was just wondering if anyone has tried something similar with the Z.
I'm the same height as you but come in at a whopping 175 lbs. I have my seats all the way back, and all the way reclined against the speakers. I fit very comfortably, and don't need this much recline, but like it that way.
So you might just have an issue with the larger body size. Not sure what you can do about that due to the side bolsters. I've driven mine about 565 miles one way on a raod trip, and never felt uncomfortable.

I am 6' 3" and 190. I don't have a problem with the height too often, my back is against the speaker, but i fit fine otherwise. I cannot agree more with iheartZ damn rear view gets smaller and smaller the more you sit up.
again, (i think i remember a few threads on what i'm about to mention) the seat tilt ***** that are apparently not on all Zs, help me (6'5") fit quite comfortably.
do you not have the 2 tilt ***** in yours?

Wow you're skin and bones. I used to be the same 170-175lbs too several years ago. It's not a size problem and I don't lean my seat back to the speakers like you. That's a little too far back in my opinion. My thoughts were to move the actual seat back an inch or so to have a little more leg room.

I hear ya on the leg room. My problem has always been that if the seat fit my legs, I couldn't reach the wheel. In my GTI (VW), I could put the seat back almost to the point that I was driving in the back seat. And that worked for my legs, but I couldn't reach the stearing wheel. I think the problem is that you may not even be able to unbolt and relocate the seat on the tracks, or the tracks themselves for that matter. I think the seat is maxed out against the back of the cockpit. Not to mention all the electronics in the seat (I have touring).
