35th Anniversary Z, is it worth it?

I have the Track Model, and I like it just as much. Saw the 35th Edition at the Nissan Dealer, and we talked about it. Needless I am very satisfied with the Track. Also have the NISMO CAI and a f-e-w other things. But It's up to you what you like. All e50Z's are the Boss in my book. Especially when there's a few mods added, rather it be engine or body or interior, or just stock. I had the 260Z, 280Z and now the 350Z, inbetween a Nissan KingCab 4X4, Pathfinder, and Porche 911. I'm Nissan type person, particularly a Z person all the way. Although, I personally prefer the manual, as a sports car, it's what you want. We only say what we like.

in canada, the manual and the auto is the same price.... i bought mine for $52,098.00 w/navigation + taxes and insurance.. i meant my dad bought it for that price, but he bought it for me.. that was what i was meaning to say

Buying the Ann is a no brainer in Aus, its only a couple grand more than the 287hp Track model
We only get manual Ann's though
I drove back to back and coming from Euro cars preferred the Ann. The engine just felt alot smoother, especially at high rpm. And yep i agree, as a base for modding, with the stronger internals, you should be able to run a bolt-on FI kit with a lot less sleepless nights
And yep i like the wheels too, everyone thinks theyre aftermarket. That being said, if anyone offers me money for them, ill happily upgrade to 19" LE37s

I agree with you, it would have been nice to see them badge it a little bit different. I see other Silverstones all the time, but they usually have the stock/standard wheels on them, so the 35th's wheels definitely make the difference in the looks area.

The car is just so responsive and the power is so smooth. The feel of the car is heads above what it was in stock form. It is actually smoother with the turbos than it was stock. This is not only my opinion, but the statements from all those that went for a ride.
If one were leasing the car, I wouldn't consider FI as it wouldn't be worth it when not owning the car.
In the end, it's not my money, so get what you want.

I don't disagree Zivman, but I have no desire to modify a car again. I want my warranty and I want to be able to walk away from it in a few years when I get bored and want a new toy. This made the 35th by far the most logical choice

New Bottom End (Revised pistons, rods, etc.)
New ECU Mapping
Higher Redline stock (7000 vs. 6600)
If you have the means to get this configuration instead, I would. I won't fool anyone, I got it out of dumb luck, lol.

No, only the 6MT is available with 300hp. AT has the standard 287hp.

$36,799 for 6MT, UY, 35th Floor Mats, Cargo Package, Alum. Kick plates, side and curtain airbags and carpeted trunk mat. I've added tint and splash guards along with a K & N air filter. I am considering a Nismo cold air intake, but will keep any mods in the Nissan family of parts.

$34,800 approximately. However, I purchased it through their VPP program http://www.insidenissan.com/ the login for the pricing and plan information is vendor/vendor. This program is only applicable to companies that have a working/vendor relationship. It's also cool cause the price is fixed, no haggling. It's like $200 or $300 under dealer invoice. I just got back from driving from SoCal to the Laguna Seca race in Monterey this weekend for the MotoGP race. Took the Z. It was awesome out on the Pacific Coast in Big Sur area.
