I paid $1000 over invoice, which also included a Nismo intake they had put on already. The total was like $35,500 or something. It's loaded with everything but nav, 6MT. Not sure how much an intake runs installed, but I'm guessing I paid $650-700 over invoice. Not bad for the only one in Utah I thought... I brought her into a different dealership for an oil change a couple weeks ago and the service guys were mystified. They had never seen a 35th before.

Yeah, I think if you purchase one of the other Z models and shop around you can get a low price. However, I think you are better off considering buying used at that point, as there are plenty of slightly used models out there. I think the 35th Anniversary was more difficult though. I heard they were doing markups on that car due to the limited number, so don't be surprised if you have a hard time getting them to come down on the price. I think the dealers know someone will eventually pay the higher price.

Sorry, left out that my sticker was $38,130. $1331 off sticker. No destination fee even though they flew a guy to Dallas to bring it to New Orleans for me. I did get some Preimer Service Deal, haven't gotten the paperwork yet, so I'm not sure what it includes. My local dealer does oil change for $8.88 on all my vehicles, Nissan or not. Trade in on the 03 Touring with 28K miles was $18,800, not bad considering kbb's excellent was $19,925 and it had issues from the accident ($22K repairs).

I didn't pay anything for mine .... my mommy bought mine!

-$950 under list - went to five "dealers" and none were willing to move below that. I did get some stuff thrown in to sweeten the deal.

I think the base model Z is the way to go! You can get an incredible car for under $25k. I don't see minor extra options that you can always add yourself being worth 12 to 14 thousand dollars more! Thats another half of a Z! I got mine new for $23,800.

I don't disagree Kevin, but honestly I've driven a base and there isn't much of a comparision to the 35th as an overall package. Still, it's all about what you want and whats worth it to you. I wanted leather, Brembos, VDC, etc.... all under factory warranty.

Camel is exactly right. The 35th driving experience is a whole different ballgame than the base. I got my 35th silverstone 6mt with all options except for nav for 33,828 which was invoice at that time. Since then I think Nissan has raised the costs just a little. Did all negotiations over the internet. I was told I had the only 6mt silverstone 35th in north carolina. The car is unbelievable.

Dude, did you give the guy a BJ? Are you just going to post that you got it $3K under invoice and not tell us how? So you got a 35th with all the optons for like $32K or so?

Take your wife with you, and be prepared to spend all day at the dealership haggling over the price. I was there for over 8-1/2 hours dealing, but I left with the car I wanted. They know you are serious about buying their car when you can get the misses to spend an entire Saturday in their showroom. Also, when arguing over price, make them believe they have a chance to make it up on "extras" like extended warrenty and by using their financing options until you get your price. Then spend another hour or more telling them NO, you only want the car, not the extras. They wont like it, but you get to leave with the Z you want.

Its really simple. If you dont plan to mod then yes the 35th anniversary comes stock with alot of cool goodies, low weight rims and the best hp. If you do mod then HELL NO!. Buy a base and make you car. Your talking a difference of 20-25k (assuming you get the base with stick). Making your car what you want would cost a hell of alot less than 20k.

$20-25k difference? The Base according to Nissan's site is $26,800, the 35th is $36,200. That's $9400 MSRP more for the 35th with all the extra goodies. The Brembos alone are worth a couple grand.

Got a quote from my local dealer yesterday. They want $35,120 for it list is $38,010. But they are lowballing (50% of average trade in) my trade claiming they went low on the price and can't give me anything for the trade. I think they still have some wiggle room so I am letting them stew. Think the price is good?

If you have the money to spend on it then go for it because it does look real nice with the new rims and the upgrades. If not then just get a AT Touring.
no, the 35th anni. auto only comes with the 287hp/274lb-ft tq. motor. i believe that's the only difference b/w the 6-spd. and auto.

My bad i thought the 35th anny's were up with the roadsters in the 45k area whoops.... And you can get a base for cheaper than 26k. From what ive read the brembos are a maintanance nightmare, id much rather have the stocks for how much it costs to up keep the brembos since their performance isnt much better.
