Maybe I'll get my dad to buy me a 2005 GT2 and not an old one

Correction, I am going to have a $30-50K budget, I am getting some recommendations... I am seeing if $30K is enough to make my Z produce 600WHP, And no i do not have a home, i live with my parents. I am only 17, which i announced in my previous posts.

there is no 2005 GT2.

This is the second or third time I have to correct you. Seriously man...by no means am I trying to put you down, but you are making yourself look more and more like an airhead. Is this really your definition of being cool? Seriously...just drop it, get a Z, and learn about some automotive facts and history if you really are interested. We always welcome enthusiasts...but if you think being a troll will make you cool, think again. No one envies you. No one wants to be you. There are hundreds of people here richer than you, but we don't need to brag about it. Grow up, get a Z, come out to some local meets and learn a thing or two first. If you need money and family status to get you recognized, I'm sorry...I feel sad for you.

In regards to your question about having 600rwhp, I'm currently working on it. I've contacted COUNTLESS companies, shops, and manufacturing studios across Canada, and the rest of the world. It took me about 11 months of non-stop research to get all my questions answered. I'm working to get my 300hp above the 600rwhp mark. I'm working with several shops and companies right now to develop an action plan. We've already drawn out blueprints of the engine bay, and listed all the parts we need. Now it's just fabrication and time management.

As I said, if you are REALLY interested, PM me. We can hook up and I can give you directions. But if you talk to me with arrogance like on the forum, sorry, you would have to do the research yourself.

I'm willing to help. But you have to admit the fact that some people know A LOT more than you do, therefore humbleness goes a long way.

My bad.. My mistake... you don't have to write 10 million words trying to put me down... Why don't you use common sense and not have to write a punch of stuff trying to put somebody down over the net.. Are you senseless??

I think I specifically said I don't mean to put you down. Just need to keep reminding you to find out FACTS before posting one of your uninformative remarks.

I am cold and senseless when it comes to immaturity and stupidity. Especially in regards to conceded human beings.

What you do with your money or cars is up to you. Just don't pull all of us down and try to make us feel like we are lower than your level. Because we're not. None of us are. If you don't like reading long messages, don't read it. I was just trying to give you some constructive criticism so you will be flamed less in the future. Oh well...you're right. Why am I bothering? Who gives a crap if you're from Vancouver? Why should I help right?

You wanna shut all of us up, then come out and show me your toys. I'll be the first one to open a thread to prove that you are telling the truth. Simple...put up, or shut the hell up.

Bah, you guys read too much into it. He asked how to get to 600rwhp, tell him what parts he needs for the VQ35DE in his 350Z and move on. No sense in arguing about it. If he's smart he'll take the advice and not complain.

Personally i think i would work mainly with APS. I know they have the turbos, intercoolers exhausts and piping to make a 600whp TT system for the z. It wont be street legal of course and the biggest part would be the engine buildup and also making a custom fuel system for it. upgraded fuel pump, injectors fuel rails etc... not to mention trying to get all that power to the pavement.
I would listen to the fellows from performance nissan about that engine swap. the VQ35 engine does not hold up too well in stock trim past 400rwhp reliably.
an RB26 would be the easier route and possibly cheaper. of course you would have to throw on a modified RB25DETT oilpan and possibly tranny since i believe its a direct bold on to the RB26 but is RWD. Plus toss in custom harness, engine management, linkages, driveshaft etc... the mind boggles at even thinking about doing that.
Just look at a lot of the high HP 350Z's, the JGTC 500 car uses a VQ30 from the 300ZX, the 350Z drift car and g35 drift car i know of both use SR20 motors.
What automotive school are you planning to go to?

hm I thought the VQ30 was specially designed and fabricated for the JGTC? Thought the 300ZX's uses VG30DETT's?

i stand corrected It was a VQ30. I was incorrect in labeling it as a VG30 from the 300ZX. Its a Special make V6 with a relatively large bore of about 93mm and a short stroke of 73mm or so.

VQ30 was used in the Maxima back in the early 90's IIRC. (which is what they use (the basis at least))

VG30 is what was in the 300ZX.

And I think you are a little confused on what APS includes. They have a fuel system included, and the Big HP fuel system should include everything needed.

Also, the reason drift cars use the SR20 is because of weight.

I guarantee you it wouldn't be cheaper to swap in an RB26DETT and modify it, nor quicker (to accomplish the same power).
