BTW...I know I added "Liquid Aluminum" to the list since someone pointed that color out but what the hell is the difference between this & "Chrome Silver"??? Anyone got a side-by-side comparison (pics)?

The funny thing is that I live in Irvine and just at my workpalce alone, we have 3 Chrome silvers (mine's the 3rd), 1 super black and 1 daytona blue. I see silvers all the time and I'm starting to think that my Z blends into the crowd and I'll need to add a wing or something =). Kinda regetting my color choice as I think that Daytona Blue and Brickyard are hot now that I have my Z... I still love my car tho!

I've seen one other Daytona Blue Z in my neck of the woods. I've seen a boat load of Silver ones.....and for a while it seemed like that was all the dealers had. The dealers had some black ones. There's even a Yellow one floating around. But to be honest....I haven't seen that many Redline ones. At least around here.
Still though, when this is all said and done, I think the Silver Group (because there's not all that much difference between them I think) will out pace everyone else.
As for most rare specific color...I think the most rare in the end will be the Liquid Aluminum. $1100 extra for a color that looks just like the other silver cars? The dealer I spoke with about it said that they didn't bother ordering any because they knew no one would pay for it.

Unless you see the liquid aluminum in person, or put it next to a chrome silver car, you might have a hard time telling the difference. But I will tell you this, it's a pretty sweet color...looks like a piece of aluminum...very shiny.
Here's a pic of one...sorry I don't have any next to a chrome silver...

Yeah, I see what you mean. Looks really close to the CS. Wonder why Nissan decided to create that color??? In fact, why would someone pay more for something that looks that close to an existing color??? Oh well, to each his own. If anything, they should've made a color called "Brushed Aluminum" & match it to the door handles. I think that'll look sweet!

Liquid Aluminum is an awesome color especially in person. You can immediately tell that the car is LA when next to CS or SS. I think it sticks out much better than the other shades of silvers as so many cars out there tend to be some boring shade of gray these days.

So, can someone post a pic of CS, and a pic of LA, not next to each other neccesarily, just to see if there is a difference.....I heard of this color but didn't know it was real , thought someone else was calling the CS, LA. I am cool with my CS, I like having a Silver car with a nice chrome metallic in it.... I have seen only 2 Z's that were SB around me.....WEIRD>
