we just bought our z 6 days ago and it is the ultra yellow. why so few of those around? people getting tired of the yellows?

I think that the Ultra Yellow is a limited production color. It is also considered and upgrade, as it costs more then the other colors.
Is your new Z is a 35th anniversary edition?

Along with Liquid Aluminum and Brickyard, Ultra Yellow is unique.
