No offense but this is why stealerships can charge outrageous prices, like they did on this 04 Enthusiast Roadster, and someone bought it at that price as well.

Come on man, go over there and demand to check your vehicle out, something is up.

If its legit, demand a rental from them cause 2 months is BS! $50 they wrecked it. If they did, get a lawyer before they lock you in a room and offer you some sweet deal!

FYI... the engines for the 350z are not on back order... They should take up to a week for a dealer to get... a day for the labor...

Most of you are quite ignorant. No sane dealer would ever WANT to do an engine replacement under warranty, they don't get paid **** for it. They probably crashed the car or something.

So I got the vehicle back, the brakes no longer squeak and it shifts a bit smoother, they would not agree to placing the RB26DETT engine in. So I got a 350z engine put in but to tell you the truth it looks the same, doesn't even look new, so I checked the VIN number on the engine and its the same!!!

So I called nissan consumer affairs and they are investigating the case as they said the VQ engine is pretty solid and rarely does a engine go out below 18K miles. On top of all this, I went to go pick up my car and the driver side door had several key marks on it along with two broad scratches on the driver side door....the dealership said to bring the car back and they will fix those. WTF??

I highly recommend servicing you car somewhere else, Colonial Nissan in Medford, MA is not providing the traditional good quality service I am used to from Nissan. I will keep you guys updated as to what happens...

I tried to follow the story and it was all I could come up with

The dealership bent my wookie!

No really, I can empathize with someone losing an engine.. I just dont follow the rest. I would be much more involved in a situation like this. But then again, I only have one car to drive.

Well that sucks....looks like we have to add another name to the list of pathetic Nisaan dealer service departments in Massachusetts. After what you've gone theough, I hope you manage to get some compensation out of this whole mess.
