Default Need advice getting the model I want

So I've checked every dealership within 20 miles of where I live and most of them only have one or two Zs in stock and all of them have something I don't want. What is the best way to get the specifics you like? Go through one of the dealerships and have one built? Is there a place online to avoid the sleaze?

Why buy a model that you don't really want? Go to nissanusa.com and expand your search. If you still can't find the model you want, order the model with the options you want from a dealer. You may wait a few months, but then you'll get exactly what you want. Good luck!

You can use Nissan.com to search within 100 miles of yours or any other nearby cities. If you're willing to wait, you can always order your perfect Z. When you go to order it, you might get lucky and the dealer might find it somewhere in the states already.

Try Nissan search. After looking at 75% of the dealers in all of Cali I found my Brick at a dealer 300 miles away.

+1 on the Nissan web site search engine.

First you select your model, pick the color, transmission, and options then do a search. It will look through the inventories of the dealers with in "X" number of miles. They have a better idea of the inventory then some of the dealers.

I'm just looking for a track, manual, sirius radio, and nav system. I'd compromise on color and interior. Everything within 30 miles I've found is a touring or roadster.

Touring and Enthusiast always seem to be the models that the dealers stock the most. Track, Perf and Base can be hard to find. You'll definitely need to search a wide area to be able to find one. Since the site will only let you search a 100 mile radius, you'll need to pick other nearby cities and search within 100 miles of there too.

If you're looking for the best quality car you can buy, buy any Lexus. If you're looking to buy a car that's actually fun to drive & has decent quality, buy the Z.
