yea i checked there bikes and they had these stupid multi color ones on there bikes and i didnt wanna beat them up because then i could go to jail and i didnt feel it was worth calling the cops over, especially with only two stolen valve caps.

Good thing my car is right in view from where i work. If those punks come back for revenge then ill be ready. i can outrun a middle schooler on a bike anyday.

why do that when you can just put threadlock and mix it with superglue when you put on your gas cap? lol

Ha! funny you bring this up, two of mine were just stolen, TWO! So now I have mismatched sets, whats even worse is I saw the kid checking out the car (was eating at a restauraunt) and didn't think he actually took anything. That bastard.

But it gets better, I remember actually stealing some for my bike when I was kid. What goes around comes around.

I already gave up replacing mine. Everytime I get a new set, some one always end up jacking them.

+1 on the theft-proof "z" logo caps...they are also a great complement to aftermarket rims

another reason to just get the plain balck ones. nobody will take em.

with those fancy ones that lock, what if those asshat kids get frustrated and cut the stems off...

I was a delinquent growing up (all A student bored with a small town) and I never thought about taking valve stem caps . . . I used to terrorize the neighborhood by using a valve stem remover to deflate a few tires, but I quickly stopped that. I spoke with the neighbor the following day and he was *****ing that he just had to buy a new tire since the other one went flat. I wasn't sure on what to do: Tell him "you idiot, it was just missing the valve stem" or "the tire place ripped you off." . . . after some thought, I just went home and never did it again *LOL*

thirty years ago, you could have beat the ever living sh*t out of those kids, and their parents would track you down, apologize, and thank you.

Yeah, the good ol' days . . .

Hell, I'm 28 and it was like that. Seems as if the neighborhood parents would auction off your @ss beating to the locals *LOL*

In my elementary school days I use to jack nice chromy tire caps for my bike.

Nowadays I'm just waiting for karma to come back around.
I'd love to see some kid in my neighborhood with "RAYS" caps on his bike.

They work great. I have had them on my car for nearly 2 yrs. The threaded portion of the cap is nylon and the cap "spins" on that which prevents them from being removed. It takes a small tool (2 come with the set) that slides over the caps to remove and install them. I keep 1 on my key chain & the other in my tool box with my air tools.

Perhaps, you should look for them while they're away from their bikes . . . take a screwdriver and knock off the master link to their chain . . . see if they like that one!
