I'm pretty much in the same boat as this dude - cept a year older... 04 AT SB, with the same goals in mind.
My plans are just tint, tires, rims, and maybe a little lowering... what's the proper way to get this stuff done?
Tint aside... do I order my tires and rims online, have em sent to a garage, then installed there... then lowered after? How much does it cost to have the suspension lowered?

IMHO, that's the quickest way to screw up the look of your Z. To me, the black or powdercoat rims make the car look "dirty" no matter how clean it is. To me, rims should contrast with the vehicle paint.
VOTE NO on powdercoat!

My opinion is that black or powdercoat wheels look bad. Just because we're all Z owners doesn't mean we have to be blind to what we like.
do you think its gay to have fairlazy emblem on my z? also what is the cleanest lip(front bumper kit) for 350z? last thing...wheres the best place to buy car audio equipments?(dvd players nav) and what brand is the best? Thanks again all
--- keep the taillights stock and just try to buy a clear strip for the orange parts in the headlights.
That's going to be bucks - lots of them as they are hard to come by and require the entire headlight to be removed, heated in an oven to 300 degrees, and then the assembly gets pulled apart and then reassembled. I don't even want to think what happens to HID lighting if the element gets wet.
Here's mine with the yellow bulbs removed and a billet steel grill.

As for DVD NAV, I haven't been in the stereo aftermarket in years and years. Maybe Orion or Pioneer?

Check out the Ings+1 front bumper or the Wald. IMO, they are the two cleanest kits that are made for the Z. Not too wild, just subtle improvements all around.
Here is a Wald link. I think it is gorgeous!

I'm a stock ***** so i didn't do a kit....

Just FYI, there is a really trustworthy shop right down the street from where you work. Checkout Proud Automotive on Wetmore/Automall. These guys have done all my performance mods, regular maintainence, and all work on my wife's '97 Mustang GT. They know 350Z's. Andrew races, and Scott has forgotten more than most of us will ever know. Check them out, if you feel like it. I'll stop by and say hi someday. Regards. Jack.
Adding emblems/grills/stickers/clear lenses etc. BEFORE you have any "real" parts is just stupid. Buy yourself some rims and lower the car first. 99.9% of the people do not see the inside of your car, so if you are inclined fix this up last. As for the clears and other dumb parts - this just says that you don't have enough money to buy the really cool parts that are expensive like.... rims etc.
I found that when I put rims and the burnt orange leather in my car is when people really started noticing and paying me compliments.
Now when I added rims, lowered, body kit, leather, mac mini/GPS, tint etc... is when I started getting compliments everywhere I went.
As for the engine, slap a nismo exhaust and JWT intake on there and you will have vettes, porsches and other exotics paying you compliments on your exhaust note and how aggresive yet clean and classy it is.

Like bling-bling pistols
Or lots of hungry kids to feed
Or birds to feed

(not really!)
I actually like the 35th's wheels.
