Exclamation ??Scratched Aluminum Help

Is there a way to buff out light aluminum scratches?
I bought a steering wheel for my XBox to play Forza, and had to move some stuff from the cargo net. I thought it would be okay to put the box over the rear strut tower brace bar. The box sort of scooted around a bit because it isn't exactly flat. When I removed the box, there were very light scratches!!!
Is there a GS-27 scratch remover of some sort for aluminum?

GRRRRR.

I forgot to mention, it is very hot here in Central Cal, which may be the reason why the aluminum scratched so easily. I'm Still looking for tips...

Anyone try this stuff? The text sounds exactly like an infomercial:

The rear strut bar is not aluminum, it's plastic painted to look like aluminum (so sad). I would treat it like paint scratches, maybe Maguires ScratchX (it seems to work miracles at times) but depending on how deep they are, it may not help.
