Question Is the *Performance* model the rarest?

I've been looking through the dealer inventories and it appears that there are far less Performance models than anything else. The reason this sticks out to me is because I'm going to order this model when I finally place my order. It definitely looks as if the Touring model is by far the most common.

Although, I didn't see too many Base models either.

Is there a rundown from Nissan on how many of each model have been built to date?

I've emailed several dealers and those inventories aren't up to date at all. Most people are getting Touring and Enthusiast models-- one of the dealers I've been talking with is getting some Base in this weekend but another of the dealers said they hadn't even seen a base yet.

Not so rare if you look at the Touring model with 6MT really as a Performance Model with Leather and Bose, which is the way it should be. I think more rear will be the Track models and Base Models if you look at it like that.

I think from the numbers on the "soup", the base model is the rarest. As it should be since nissan wants to sell more 30K+ cars than 30K- cars.

Not true if you just want the cloth seat, and also the if you are going to change out the stereo system, BOSE is not the way to go. Performance is a pretty good deal if you ask me...

What I meant is that the classification of the Touring with 6MT should really be called a Performance with Leather and Bose options. I didn't mean that the Performance should be with leather and Bose.
