Silverstone or Le Mans??
hey everybody,
first off let me say that this site rocks! i stumbled on it a week or so ago and have been addicted ever since -- not to mention learning a ton about the 350z.
i've been in love with the 350z ever since it came out, and i think i'm just about ready to pull the trigger and order an '06 touring (w/ AT). only one small problem left, i feel deadlocked as to which color to choose: silverstone w/burnt orange interior or le mans sunset w/black interior?
literally everybody i've asked has suggested silverstone, but i like how the le mans is a throwback to the original. i know this is mainly a matter of personal taste, but i'm curious to see what everyone else thought of when they chose their colors.

You're right in stating that it is a matter of taste. Both colors are good choices. My only comment would be "why AT?" Unless you're driving in stop-and-go traffic all the time, 6MT is the best for a "true" sports car, IMO.

I would really wait to see the Lemans in Sunlight as it changes color. I get compliments on the color all the time however it is a love it or hate it. The silverstone is a color you see everywhere unlike the Lemans which is rare but sexy.

I have to say that a silver car is the most common color around. Wouldn't you rather have something a little more unique? If you really like the Lemans, get it. Don't worry about what others might think or say.

Well, just wait on the color selection. They are going to add 2 more colors to the group and get rid of the brickyard and some other color. I actually think the le mans is going to be called something else, and is going to be a little more reddish orange, just like on the new C6 vetts.

Brickyard has been gone since the 04s came out. Liquid Aluminum was a one year color too. Those cars look really good in person, but not worth the $1100 extra. I think black is one of the best colors for the Z, but black is black, which means plan on washing your car at least once a week. My buddy has the Lemans....it is a cool color, but as mentioned above it is a love it or hate it color.
Somebody kick SweetSilverZ off. He is stirring up EVO sh*t everywhyere.
