Default Z Playing Cards

A buddy of mine gave me these the other day. Picked them up from the Detroit auto show. Haven't seen them before.

I got those when I signed on to the mailing list for Z info way back when.

It's not nice to tease like that

Figured everyone had them already. Oh well, I still think I'm special.

Mine are still sealed. Thanks for posting the pic so now I know what some of them look like.

opps...I guess I didn't think to keep mine as a "collector's item".

My set has seen many games of @sshole, bullshlt pyramid, and high-low. Some of the cards even have soaked edges of Captain and Coke.

If the back of each card is different, doesn't that kind of ruin the game?

I wouldn't think so, unless you play with them consistently for a decent amount of time.

There are only 5 (?) backs shared among all cards, so normal play isn't affected. I seem to recall that the jokers had a unique back, though (Closeup of a wheel?), in which case it would be pretty easy to ID a joker in someone else's pile. Could be wrong on the last bit, though.

I received mine in March 2002 three months after everybody else. They came sealed in a plastic bag, and kinda melted together from the irradiation process. The Post office said they were safe and there was no Anthrax. I just threw them in the trash. Oh well, life in N.J. ain't it grand.

I know this is an old post, but I still have this deck of cards when Nissan sent them out prior to the release of the car. I broke down and used them to play poker while on a deployment because they looked cool. Some of the cards are a little bent so I would like to get a replacement deck. Anyone know if these can be found anymore?

Yeah I saw those since I'm a fellow Ebayer, but I still like my old deck better. It's either these cards or the Hooters cards. I guess I'm back to the Hooters cards for poker games. It's terrible that life is filled with such quandries.

I guess you could try Nissan Consumer Affairs at 1-800-NISSAN5 they might be able to hook you up with a set.

Cool. Did you notice that all the aces are Enthusiasts. Coincidence? Maybe.
