Besides the car itself, I pay all my mods out of my pocket. If I want something really nice, I just save up for it.

Besides the car payment, I put 1200$ on credit card for mods, but I'll pay that off with the next two paychecks! Plus I'm saving for my rims. I promised myself all my mods would be cash and after a few months I broke my promise. So now I'm on restriction until I pay off the credit card!!! I just couldn't stand the stock stereo system, particulary when you drive 1.5hr per day 5 days a week, the drive is much more pleasent with satellite!!

Not in debt yet but if i spring for rims and tired it will get me there. Im going to stop getting on these boards, its like car ****!

I bought my car with 17k finanicing @ 3%. After that I paid cash for mods worth like $6k.

In my opinion if one can get interest rate around 3% if would be not smart to pay off the whole car. I rather have the 17k invested which brings me about 10-15% return then pay fully for the car.

Also making pmt's will increase your credit score

I agree with NLSQBA, interest is so low now it doesn't make sense to pay it off, it's almost free money, especially @ 3%. Enjoying the Z on the banks dime basically!

Gotta finance, . I don't believe in waiting until I can pay cash to have the car I want.
Why would I want to pay a car payment on a car I didn't really want for 15 years until I can afford to pay cash for a Z, plus your credit gets an awesome boost from paying on time.

I owe about 7k or so now on the Z. Other than that I have a few thousand on my CC due to upcoming wedding expenses (ring, booking the wedding, booking a cruise, etc...).

Well, i have 1 small spot where i think a rock hit before i even got the car (had 26 miles on it before i got it) and i put 3 scratches on the bottoum most right fender due to a curb.

Plan? figure out what it takes to do touch up paint or just have the trouble area's redone by a pro, then get clear bra, seriously why not? If any thing it will make takeing bugs off the front way easyer.
