Yeah, because if it isn't it's not a real sports car.

Not sure I understand your sentiment or your statement, but same as Low J., I paid cash for it.

I believe a sports car is a sports car regardless of how it's paid for...

It was just a joke based on what LowJ has said in the past about the 350Z auto tranny. Just a run of the mill, no harm intended joke. I guess if you have to explain it the joke wasn't that good. I'm sorry.....I guess.

Man i thought about getting a Z and to think of it i would pay:

-Car Payment (I dont have that kind of money to pay it off, has to be financed)
-GAS!!!!!! Gas prices are soo damn high! $30-40 full tank
-Maintenance on the car (All these tire feathering issuesss)

Monthly - Tooo much

Might as well save up that money and just wait

I'll be paying on mine (if I follow the laid out payments) till 2010 sometime. Though I'm already a bit ahead on my payments. Yeah...I may be 25, but I'm paying for that car myself. I wish I could have paid for mine up front.

Other than the actual financing & payments on the car it's just plain stupid to go into debt for mod's. If you don't have the cash then you shouldn't buy the mod. Sorry to flame but WAKE UP before it gets worse.

Heck I spent 7k just on audio but I did it in 2 phases and paid cash.

Lets see, i put 15k down and owe 17k.
dealer got me good told me $26,761 for my new enthuisast AT.

Taxes, Low Jack (900 i think) 5 year,100k mile warrenty (2060), 32k out the door.

I will not mod it until its payed for, estimated time for it to be payed for, well i think at around December or February.

My mod list goes something like.
Red painted stripe down the middle of my PPW.
Wing on the back, wich undecided.
3M Clear bra
Some light 14-16 pound 17inch wheels (that look good)
Tires; Michelin Pilot Sport A S (sorry folks im not a racer i dont want to die in the rain, i want my traction)
True Dual Exhaust, probably borla and make sure it gets welded together so no leaking.
What ever else is a bolt on N/A mod that wont screw with warrenty of entire car.

Outside of the monthly payment, no debt. I have done my audio and wheel upgrades like bixby... in phases with $$ that I had saved. Now, if I ever go ST or TT, none of what I said may apply

I don't know how much good that clear bra will do you 5 years down the road unless you plan to repaint the front end or whole car before you install it?
