Mike Kojima with Sport compact and nissan built a nice Z with lots of power. close to what your saying but not that much.

Not complete OEM does not = stock, IMHO.

I think bringing in built motors into the discussion is pointless at that point any built motor will have huge potential.

Keep your eyes open. I am in the process of building a Single turbo VG. It has all stock internals. With this setup it will easily make over 650whp. How much more is the question. Time will tell, when it pops, I guess that's all it can take! Until then I plan to keep raising he bar.

My Position at the company has changed... i dont spend as much time on message boards etc etc for the Z33 only...

There are other cars out there... I have been out of the loop for the 350Z for a little bit...

I still think stock for stock the VG will still hold its own....just my 2 cents, these VQ's are still relatively new to me, but seems quite fragile compared to old school, SR's VG's and RB's....Only time will tell huh folks?

Yep. They now have 2 350Z's with over 1400hp (with a VQ35DE).

PREFACE: hey, i've perused the thread and USED the search button here AND on google and i didn't find a good answer to my question so i'll ask it here.

anyone know if the exhaust manifolds for the VG30DETT will bolt up to a VQ35DE? I'm not lookin for any opinion or flame, just facts... thanks
